GrahamS
I am just starting out in trials with a used Onza T-rex and after limited play time with the bike I am finding the bars really low, I'm 6'3". Compared to my usual mountain bike the bottom bracket is high and the forks are short. I can't decide if the set up is genuinely not matched to me or if it is just the newness of it all.Are there any guidelines on this and would it be worth considering a taller stem? Thanks,Graham
martin555
I had a simlar thing I'm 6ft and I ride a mod. It felt really weird for the first week but after riding every day Iv gotten used to it.I can swich from my XC bike to trials with out any problem now. If after a little while it still feels wrong then may be consider changing a few parts. But personaly I'd give it some time first.

GrahamS
what bar and stem have you got on the Rex? Al depends on that really....It's an Onza bar and a Guess stem but I don't know the specifics off the top of my head at least. I was trying to track stand and hop last night and it did not seem all that bad however when I ride or just coast I really have to crank my neck to see where I am going. I'll stick with it as I don't think it will hamper my initial progress and look at changing if it is obviously going to be a problem.Cheers,Graham
Revolver
Stick with it. Trials bikes all have high BBs and short forks compared to other bikes. A higher stem might help, though.
