Alex Dark Posted September 7, 2009 Report Share Posted September 7, 2009 Righto, Got a t-master front hub and a rear try-all hub (satin black with big white tryall logo) with blown bearings.Anyone got any idea what sizes I'd need? I'm going to email tarty tomorrow, but just thought id post this up just in caseAlso, just wondering how the best way to get old bearing outer shells out of a hub, apart from a dremel as i don't have one . Sure At least a few of you must have had this problem.I belive the t-msters hub is 6000 series bearing, not sure bout the try-all oneshaha i have had this problem many a time, i have discovered two ways1-file the hub down so you can get a chizzle in the other side and snack it out, this is a bad way though obz ,2-get a chizzle and hammer, and hit the chizle down the outside of the ring, it knocks it in, to get it out it should crack if not keep goingtwo othewr ideas are, use those plyers that looks like the liquid terminators arms as the open the lift in the mental hospital, then hit from other side?and you could always rebuild it on the original ring, not very hard, Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest itstroy08 Posted September 7, 2009 Report Share Posted September 7, 2009 these are tried and tested metods ill have you know, it always occurs with me the filing way only works on a big hub, tmaster is too skinny taking a glace at mins, but i did use the chizzle thhe side method on the rear which is also a tmaster hub and works fine, just looks a bit strange, but runs as smooth as the day i got it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
