MikeCottTrials
If i where you i'd pray that your right foot forward, has more advantages.HOW do you know you kick better with your right foot if you can't hop into position? Guest itstroy08
I pedal kick straigt from both wheels, like i only do rolling kicks. static is just the same, i cant kick then hop on the rear, this is why i need advice you see.If i try hopping on the right foor foward, i can only hop twice then my feet lift from the pedals and therefore i stop Oh also i have canadian brake set-up (backwards) this is becuse of personal choice, the opposite way doesnt feel as good, if that helps ??? MikeCottTrials
I think your a nutter, you have clown brakes and clown feet.At the end of the day your going to have to practise hopping with your right foot forward as thats the one thats got the power
Revolver
Brake setup doesn't matter, but ideally you should choose a side (try the side opposite to which you'd sidehop to) and take that to be your forward foot, and get used to it like that. Tomm
Oh also i have canadian brake set-up (backwards) this is becuse of personal choice, the opposite way doesnt feel as good, if that helps ???That's gonna be well annoying - you'll never be able to ride anyone else's bike. Swap the brakes back over and just practise - it won't take long to get used to it.

A legend called jack at essex trials and jump center taught me how to propally it isnt easy at all i know, but just keep going for it!Good luck.Laurence.PS. add me on msn (glasheon@hotmail.co.uk) if you want any ferther help. matt rushton
I do ride like that still, left foot for : Taps, kickers etc,Right foot for: Sidehoping and gaps.Although I can now ride with either foot forward for each move just can't go as big with my non preferance foot, if that all makes sense. JT!
1. If you were to step up onto something (just walking, not on a bike) like something high-ish like a table in one step, which leg would you feel more comfortable stepping up with first?2. If you were to start a 100m sprint, and you started on the floor, which foot would out have forward?3. Say you wanted do a 180 endo, which way do you spin? Trials Punk
so if yyour hopping on the rear how do you balance?Well, I'm fine balancing hoping on the back wheel with my right foot forward. As soon as it comes to balancing along a rail with two wheels the left foot is forward......
JT!
awnsers:1-either foot, i just tried lol 2-i have no idea, i never have taken notice to this, id also say either, just testing3-left, foot jams i jam my foot with the right foot and kick the bike right.any ideas? You're in a really shitty situation, my advice would be to learn everything as if you were a left foot forward rider. You rotate your bike clockwise when you ride, I assume when you do anything like 180's 360's foot jams, it'll always be clockwise so that tells me that you should be left foot forward, combine that with the fact that you backhop with your left foot forward means that you're doing everything right apart from when you pedal kick.I guy I used to ride with had a similar problem, although i can barely remember what exactly it was, I did once hear him say something a long the lines that he had to do a quick pedal backwards to switch his forward foot.Lean to pedal kick with the other foot, it's going to be a right bitch, and feel crap at first. But it has to be done.
ScottTrials
All you can really do is ride how you want. I always get told that I sidehop and spin the wrong way to my foot (right). I prefer to sidehop to my right not to my left like I keep getting told and I spin the back end to the right and if I spin straight on the rear wheel I spin also to the right. But I balance with the left foot forward. So just keep practising, you will get used to doing the stuff you want with the foot you desire.
