Right, you can either buy one of these http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=10009 a single speed kit with a tensioner and fit it yourself or go to your local bike shop ask them to price it up and get it done there. Thats how you can change from your gears to singlespeed, hope i helped. You may not even need the tensioner if your chain can run without the tensioner with little slack. Your also probably better by getting a new chain. Tartybikes.co.uk is a good place to get trial parts http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...p;category_id=7. You can also get a singlespeed kit from there/ www.tartybikes.co.uk/search.php?category_id=511

Yeah I wanna know similar sort of stuff, but it seems that all the conversion kits etc are made to work with 15/16t cogs, but I was told that the ratio for front and back cogs should be 20 : 16, and i have a 22t front, so the back should be 19, so none of the conversion kits would work. So what shall I do? get a spacer kit, a tensioner and a cog?

Thanks in advance.
