seaine
Hi,i got a disc fork and i dont know how big of an adaptor i need to get for it.i will be running a hayes front brake,so i need an adaptor to start but the mounts look very odd.from the weld to the first hole is 2mm,from the weld the second hole is 3mm and from that axle to the first hole is 4.5mm.what size adaptor would in need to run for the brake and the disc to work.they are a brand x fork i got for cheap because i snapped my old ones. Duncy H
IMO a hayes brake isn't entirely suitable for trials but should do the job. What size is the hayes you bought? Like rotor size etc?I don't know much about the forks so might not to be able to help much there. Are they post or ISO mount?
seaine
they are post mount.it is a 203 but any size will fit it.i have been using a 160mm rotor with no problems.

Alex Dark
Sounds very strange, can you get a picture?I definitely wouldn't use a hayes brake ona trials brake....the complete absence of this brake from the trials world tends to suggest it isnt ideally suited to the kind of riding we oput it through. Instead consider a Hope mono trial, Avid bb7/5, Avid Juicy 5/7 or magura louise
