Spektrum
We all seem to think five ten shoes with their stealth rubber are great, but has anyone approached the manufactures about perhaps creating a few stealth prototype tires? I'm sure you guys in england would appreciate the extra traction in the wet, and I could see many great applications of the stealth tire. Leave your feedback please. Dan S
sorry, but could you please tell me, why you think stelth rubber would be better than any other tyres?what's so special about it?It's not I'm trying to prove something, i just don't know much about this rubber. Jake Beach
sorry, but could you please tell me, why you think stelth rubber would be better than any other tyres?what's so special about it?It's not I'm trying to prove something, i just don't know much about this rubber. It's sticky, its used on soles for flat pedals so you stick to them and don't slip off. Alex Dark
erm, is that any better than the rubber currently used in any way?
Ali C
I would rather use the softer and stickier rubber found in tyres such as conti and maxxis

JT!
Rubber on shoes is designed for walking on, rubber on tires are designed for riding on, they're two different things. It's like saying why not take the material from a disc pad, and use that in some magura backings and your brake will be like a disc!
aener
Stealth rubber isn't just another compound. It's had crazy loads of money poured into it.It's super tacky, but wears down insanely slow. Really really lightweight, too.Like the good points of a 42a, mixed with the good points of a 70a.Trouble is, it'd be like.... 100 pound a tyre. r2wtrials
Full details... http://www.stealthrubber.com/story.php .. seems to load a bit slow though.
Rusevelt
Would be an interesting tyre compound though even better as rim brake pad. Would be nice if tomorrows trial tyres have knobbly grip running along the entire sidewall, like Maxxis Hookworms.
psycholist
Non marking rubber would probably be more useful as that would allow for more stealth in street sessions. I find that my tyres clean the dirt off some surfaces rather than leaving black marks though - much like the ad campaigns I've seen every so often where a section of a footpath is power hosed through a stencil to leave a message/image. They can't really be done for graffiti because they cleaned an area rather than dirtying it...
