Rusevelt
Last september, the whole of central london was closed of to all london traffic (expect trains and tube) to promote cycling and give londoners the opportunity to ride absolutely anywhere. There where hundreds of stewards on the major roads basically controlling the flow of thousands of cyclists (YES THOUSANDS!). The drive path leading up to buckingham palace had various bike stands and demo teams including Mongoose (i think Mad or Onza where there doing demos). So if you ever needed an opportunity to ride london free from police hassle, this is it. If anyone has any more info on demo teams attending, please post here. Rusevelt
This newspaper article shows the routes that will be closed off to london traffic. The Mall (the drive path heading towards buckingham palace) will have bike demos like last year. Could be MAD or Onza, would be cool to have both but that will never happen in my lifetime......ill try and get pics of the route and where the cameras will be.
