AdamR28
Thought it was time for a new frame. Got these on our latest order and couldn't resist trying high BB! Usually blue and red together on a bike makes me want to vomit, but somehow I think this looks alright.Anyway, geo: 1085, +60, 375, 72 head, 665 reach. Frame weight 1.85kg, bike weight 9.52kg.First proper ride tonight hopefully...CheersAdam
Duncy H
Looks rather cool, and I agree about the red bits. I was wondering what it would be when Ali said you were getting a new frame.

N.Wood
Good stuff Ad, let us know how you get on with the high bb.Rear disk still good? Any tips for set up on a Yaabaa?
Rusevelt
Sweet setup i bet thats gonna be so comfortable to ride on the backwheel. So does this frame effectively replace the Typhoon for 09-10?

Any tips for set up on a Yaabaa? Will do matey!Yeah love it, setup tips... not really anything different to normal, although the mount is at +50 so you do need a #5 caliper for 190mm rotor (#3 caliper would be 210 rotor). You thinking of trying one?So does this frame effectively replace the Typhoon for 09-10?Yes.
Dan S
I guess I'm seing this way of connecting the hose to the caliper for the first time.Is it hand made or it is some kind of new version of mono?
Muel
Just a tarty special, makes the hose line cleaner I think?
AdamR28
makes the hose line cleaner I think?Exactly, and less easy to damage as it's further inboard. (And a bit lighter lol)

You thinking of trying one?Good stuff, yeah I bought a #5 (160mm yeah?) rear off matey on here, waiting for Porter to get me his 190mm rotor out his van then I'll be good to go!Hopefully get it all sorted this week, will no doubt be contacting you if I have any problems
AdamR28
160 rear is #3 caliper (unless it's from a Koxx bike?) so you would need a dinnerplate 210mm for that! Magura do one though, but they are about £40. Don't use Porters old knackered rotor cos the brake will just feel poo
Mark W
That frame looks so much nicer without that 'gusset' kinda thing welded down it. Just looks really nice, sleek and clean. This is actually the first trials bike I've liked the look of since I quit, pretty much.
adam 94
Love that, like the mod version aswell.

Do they make a Mono Trial in that size? Nah I wouldn't normally use anything James has touched (apart from his womens), but this is a brand new 'un Just noticed - No Conti rear tyre? Duncy H
Just noticed - No Conti rear tyre?I too am intreeged by this, what is it a high roller? How did you find the rubber queen previously?

Haha, cool.Yeah Conti came off, didn't like it alllll that much which is weird (didn't have it on that long mind) and I prefer the feel of super light tyres.Rubber Queen was fine in the dry but not so hot in the wet, so stuck the Hi Roller on (2.5" Single Ply: http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...category_id=33).
