Matt Vandart
With a 16t front, the ratios are kinda of in between if you run an 18.18:16 is a 1:1.125 ratio.16:14 is a 1:1.142 ratio.18:15 is a 1:1.200 ratio.16:13 is a 1:1.231 ratio.I use 16:13, most people think it's too high but I had 16:14 and just couldn't ride it.EDIT: Chain legnth will barely change, you might be able to get another link out of it, which is a good thing really. Thanks dude, the thing is the neon has tiny weenie horizontal drop outs and is designed for 18/15. So if I don't get the chain length right I would have to use a tensioner, that'll really piss me off I hate tensioners!I may try 16/13 or I'll sell my frame and get a limey who knows what I'll do, I may get into hang gliding instead-LOLNo chance, I go to work in planes and helicopters and shit myself all the way Matt
Muel
380 stays you say? Have a look at my Simtra's chain line, it's got 380 stays, and if the rear wheel was 5mm further back then I reckon it'd be tight.Should be alright, if not you'd have to use a 14t sprocket. forteh
Chain length will barely change with a?16:14 or16:13Matt16:14 is slightly tighter than 18/15 but a lower gear ratio. Depending on the arm length you might get away with it.I use 165 burns, had 18/15 and needed a pretty long 74kingz style tensioner, switched to 16/14 and the tensioner is half the length now If you have 170 or 175 arms then 16/14 will feel rediculously light and youll need to go down to 13, increasing the amount of chain slack. If youre half competant with autocad its not too hard to layout the sprockets and chain links and work out how much slack you will have.edit: screw on burns is certainly a very appealling though, if my king ever dies then I might have to invest in a set Edited September 2, 2009 by forteh

forteh
Just a thought, why dont you use 18/15 with the burns?
Tom Booth
I use 16:13, most people think it's too high but I had 16:14 and just couldn't ride it.I had 16:14, and hated it. Far to light to do anything in m books. Changed to 16.13, really liked it but fancied a change as I'm starting to try more rolling stuff, went 16-12 and it's aweeeesome. Still feels nice and spinny when you want but just get's abit mroe power down when you want it. I like
