Borat
Hey guys, most of you at reading will know that my rear brake went tits up. So I cleaned it all out this morning, got rid of all of the gunk. Go to bleed it, its mega spongy. Checked for leaks, nothing (im running braided front and rear crossovers). Water bleed, cnc backings, zoo! booster etc and it's still stupidly spongy. Thanks if you can help me.

Dale-Hill
You wound the TPA all the way in before you did the bleed right? If you did, you'll have a little leave somewhere (check fittings in callipers)
cai
Either theres air still in the brake, or perhaps you've cracked your frame??
Connor Powell
Wind the tpa in, Bleed again, Double check everythings tight! Check for cracks. Use a booster. 06 pythons are nitouriously Flexy.

Connor Powell
You can get to f**k with your witty comments you willy.Don't know what to suggest jack, Have you checked that your rear braided crossover is done up tight enough? The ammount of times i found my rear brake going spongey because i hadn't tightened my crossover up tight enough when putting it back on. simlesuperlol
my suggestion: go to a local specialised shop and ask them to do the ajustements... then if they can't do anything more than you did...well...I don't know what you should do... sorry
Ben John-Hynes
If bleeding with a syringe, push more than 1 full syringe of water through. I normally do about 3/4 full ones.OR an even better option, take the brake off and do a submerge bleed!

Duncy H
What method are you sing to bleed it? I once had a magura that leeked through the slave on the circly bit where the pads connect. Also what year levers are they? I have had a few 05+ levers that have got cracks in them easily.
Little Yoshi
I remember someone saying that the water would leek through the gaps that the cnc macahin would make on the cylanders. But maybe im talking shit.

Muel
I've never done a bath bleed on my brake, it's never gone wrong.
Borat
Before anyone gets confused, I do wind the tpa off (or however you like to say it).Im not a complete idiot.
Revolver
If you pump the lever slow when you bleed it, it can still leave air in pockets inside the brake. You've got to do it with VIM AND VIGOUR.Other than that, f**k knows. Have you got a braided hose that has two nuts at each place that it screws into something? If so, maybe it's loose on one of those, and leaking. Mine did that, but I noticed so I stopped it.
