lewiswolsey2009
I need a bit of advice on going up wallsI can easily go up small curbs and small walls with a bog standard bunny hopI was wondering if there is a different technique to going up higher walls.I was also wondering if there is someone kind enough to give me a step by step guide as i have been on trash-zen and watched Ryan leech's video and cant get the hang of it. Dale-Hill
Just practice, non of us* will explain it better than Ryan or trash *Some n00b will spend loads of time copying what trash says though
Rob.
LOL DALE.1° On the second half crank turn, push on the goofy pedal (left) to lift the front wheel up to the edge of the obstacle. You must aim right at the edge, not behind.2° As the front wheel takes off, keep the knees slightly flexed, ready for an impulsion as soon as the front wheel passes or touches the top of the kerb. 3° Finish the crank turn on your good pedal and, from the highest position (on the pedals), throw your shoulders over the bars with an impulsion upwards.Hope i helped.Rppb. A.Baxter
What i do is role towards the wall a bit faste than walking pace, and then before getting too close kind of do a short manual and then jump up with the bike and land my back wheel on the wall.If you get the hang of this it is very useful with other moves too. Also i haved managed to hop up a highest so far of 44" using this techniqe. The speed in which you travel needs to be corect though, because if your going to slow you will just go up and then come back down not on the wall and too fast you will just crash into the wall Adam
