It may be legal, but sometimes, cops are as uninformed as anyone else... so you could get pulled up about it anyway.

A bit like how the new rules make 24" bikes children's bikes or toys, and therefore, allowed on the pavement...

24" bikes are allowed on pavements?? Which means so are 20" (BMX's and Mod's etc....)??

I've always been unsure as to whether i'm allowed on the pavement or not on my bike.

Anyone know the other rules?? ie: Brakes?? Bell?? Reflectors? etc

I really don't know for sure.

Remember the rule change for paint, though? 24" bikes were being bundled in with 20" bikes as kids bikes, toys, and need paint that is safer in some way.
