iAdam
Ok, need some help.I'm young, just got an Onza T-Vee and needs things that are cheap and easy to get hold of to practice on, at the moment I found a pallet that my parents weren't using, so that's set up. But I need some other things, or cheaper places to get hold of pallets.Any ideas would really help.Adam
Jake Beach
You could try make a raised platform out of 1 pallet like I did: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....=126336&hl=
Billy.
build your stuff out of scaffolding and rusty metal and wood, or something along the lines of that

How heavy is that rig, my garden isn't huge and it'd be needing to be lugged around alot.
LukasMcNeal
Natural things are good like rocks/stones and logs.
iAdam
Natural things are good like rocks/stones and logs.At the moment I need the smaller things such as pallets and small platforms. I reckon the highest I could get up at the moment is about a foot and I'd be using my bashplate. I know, I'm a bit pathetic. Thanks for the reply though. haderz
a curb? ad then...a larger curb like next to a bus stop and maybe a small wall? think about it this way, why not ride out in the streets which is what trials is really about? you may meet some local riders, it will be more fun and u don't have your parents watching you out the window. also it costs nothing and there's no lugging around needed?just seems to be common sense to me

However, I'll try and get my friends together and we'll get to the streets. I'll get a bus timetable too, so I know when to move out the way. Edit; I've managed to get another pallet, so I'll halve it and build up so my rig will have two levels. I may also add a small ramp onto the lower level to aid me while I learn to trackstand on an incline, then I'll take the ramp off at a later date. Anyone made a rig like this? If I do make this I'd be able to get a group of my friends together and we'll drag it to the local park's car park for a bit. Right, I'll be thinking about that then, I'll build these two pallets up together and post pictures of my findings.

pogo
East midlands, thinking about trying to get a ride sorted, maybe not though. Is it really that rough round there?Whats the nearest city, meeting people is the best way to get ideas. iAdam
My area of Nottingham, yes it is that rough. Seriously, My house is one of two that have a council estate behind them, leave anything in your garden even and it will be robbed. If I do a ride it'll probably have to be after next week as I start back at school a week on thursday.Got my rig finished, just been out on it but its a bit hot, might move it onto the drive so I have more balance rather than grass. It's just what people like better. It's not "what trials is about"
