Joe popped in for a chat today to show me his bike. I picked it up and was instantly impressed of the weight. Got it on the Scales and it weighs and incredible 7.8KG.

Proto forks and rear rim on display too.

Just thought you may want a gander.

that's fairly light! Could probably loose a lot mroe though (Rear tyre to a Monty, cranks to Monty, change to FFW, new front wheel, headset, rim tape, change the BB as I think it's a Try-All).

You could get that below 7.5kg I reckon. :P

Not yet, Will let you know when we have and idea,

That is Joe's new bike.

Wheelbase with the new forks make it 1010, +70, 350.

Rear rim will be released later this year.

We could get it lighter yes, but it was not a project it was just Joe putting his bike together from all the bits he had.

Should be out around November time.

I'm lucky because Iv actually had the chance to ride this beast myself at a show and it is so light you could pick it up with 1 finger and IL post a picture too ..

Don't laugh at my goofy attempt to pedal kick ..

Don't you feel special? Haha.

Make it longer damn it!!!!

Are there any frames which aren't designed for comps? lol I think companys just say it because when it snaps they blame it on the street, but meh, I think they could make a really nice street frame if they dropped the bb abit and made it 1025-1035.

agreed, but dont try and comprimise imo.

If trials companies would fall in line with every other part of the bike industry and start producing different size frames for different people, then all this kinda problem would be solved, really. It just makes sense to offer frames with a different reach to them. It's standard practise in BMX, and the same happens in MTB/road bikes too. Not everyone's the same height, so why would you assume that one size of frame would fit everyone?
