joshlyd1
Yeh it was all good and safe both sets of bolts were tight im just asking them for a better product ( maybe a little heavier with smaller weight saving holes )
Jamie East
Monty are a lightweight/comp company, there stuff wont be the strongest around. Not quite sure how you managed to break them though, probably set up incorrectly.

weirdoku
Am I right in saying your cams slipped becuase they were f**ked in the first place? Then that would be your fault for not replacing them knowing they were f**ked with the potential to slip. Monty ain't gonna listen to just one person you know. joshlyd1
They were fine and were set up correctly there was no damage except axle wear n tear
Rob.
Just get some new snail cams then it will be fine! instead of slating monty ones!
Dan S
picture?I'm riding my monty snai cams for 1.7 years already and they are as good as new.I can't imagine, what did you do to yours...
eskimo
Alloy snail cams are real bad. I've never found a pair that don't wear, quick. Smooth, notched and 7075 all suck. Steel all the way. But in your case it sounds like rider error. Try some chain tugs.
joshlyd1
I cant put tugs on my zoo but i am going to buy trialtech toothed cams

Mat Smith!!
I dont understand, if your wheel is tight and your snailcam snaps, your wheel probs wont even move, if its tight it will be fine, not enough to make you fail and kill everything on your bike, you must have done something wrong. joshlyd1
Everything was tight and all set up properly
Balman
my echo ones used to slip all the time you do REALLY have to tighten the wheel other wise there useless i dont belive for a second it was set up right if it was they wouldnt have moved its not like its a moving part people make snail cams them selfs and they work id get someone with someone to have a look at it and maybe show you how to set them up...Please, find a cliff, a tall building, anything that would cause death if you jumped from it.Best thing you have EVER typed EVER! Borat
Josh, you are pathetic. Ask krisboats how much I have improved, he validated me again. And the Jack Chinnery haters club. You have at least used a capital letter for Chinnery. Edited August 20, 2009 by Borat
