MadNick1.2
Right i have been looking at buying a new frame and i have narrowed it down to these 2.The Onza Limey 3, http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=14OrZoo Piranha, http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=14At the moment i own a phase 1.2 which has been heavily modified. It is just the frame now, i have changed everything on the bike and now want to take the plunge and get a new frame.I want to know peoples opions on these frames and also any ideas if the Geo would be easy to get to grips with.Obviously both have pros and cons, such as the Piranha is £100 cheaper, etc.Any help with making my decision easier would be cool as i should have enough for the Piranha in 2 months and enough for the Limey in 3 months...Cheers
sstein
The Limey 3 is the best frame that I have ever ridden, but it all comes down to preference!
Mike W
Id go for the limey, seems the frame of the moment !
MikeCottTrials
ive never ridden either so my thoughts are just that,to me the limey looks like a bit of an unwieldy static caravan, whilst in comparison the piranha looks a nible jaguarI would myself get a short piranha if i went back to stock, which i would if i could afford it

Ali C
...And cracks after half year?Looks good but ..how strong is that frame? My proto is going strong since may, no dents (despite some harsh hits) and no cracks (wish I could say the same for my forks lol)
MadNick1.2
Cheers Ali,What size is the BB, i assume it is 68mm but what length axle does it take / need.At the moment i have 68 x 118mm fitted and a RS7 s/t Crankset with 170mm arms.I am hoping that the crank arms will not foul on the maguras when rotating.Would you be able to measure yours up for me and let me know, i say this because i dont want to spend another fortune buying new parts to fit the frame. Thanks in advanceMy proto is going strong since may, no dents (despite some harsh hits) and no cracks (wish I could say the same for my forks lol)
Julius Czar
Have'nt the limey 3's got them dropouts that crack? Like the ice?
Joe@Onza
Have'nt the limey 3's got them dropouts that crack? Like the ice? They have the same drop outs just like 7 other models do. With a combination of 600 bikes in circulation with that drop out and a thread was started because 2 Ices have broke in the same place I'm not running to the factory just yet to stop production. Canardweb
Mate, I use to have a Mad phase 1.2 too but now that I have the Limey 3, I am riding so big and so smooth, especially since I have the Kaiser...So go for the Limey!!!
