Monty 221 Ti

Recommended Posts

Well, after buying a 24" Ashton Raid about a month ago, i had a go on my mates Neon. It made me urgently want a 20" trials bike again so the Ashton was sold and i've bought this Monty 221 Ti for £160. It's rather scratched, but after abit of setting up ie. headset, bleed back brake etc. it's riding mint :) Feels so good to be riding again!

Looks nice. Get some new bars and stem and either throw a Profile or a good fw on there. I'd probably change the front brake too.

It's a Monty freewheel thats on. But a Profile may happen in time, as i loved my old one.

Looks good for the price mate. Front rotor is on the wrong way round though, they're supposed to go the other way to help stop them cracking.

Ah, cheers pal. Hadnt had a proper look yet to be honest. I think the brake could be better, so im going to have all the pads out and bleed it etc (Y)

Your frame will crack if you don't modify it. These frames have around 106mm hub spacing. A profile is 110.

Really? Alot of mates had Profile's on these frames when i used to ride and i dont recall any of them cracking the frame because of a Profile. CLS included.
