MikeCottTrials
Do they exist?I really feel more comfortable with a low profile tyre, and i feel like i could get a more powerful spring off one.Don't ask me why, i just feel like a tyre that feels like less of a sponge would be betteronly thing i can see is an echo tyre BUT im not sure about them in general (compound etc)
ogre
to sound dumb, what do you mean by low profile?
MikeCottTrials
to sound dumb, what do you mean by low profile?like the depth of the tyre, so the measurement from the outer edge to the inner edge
DannyBazz (:
Low profile means a thinner tyre basically...Eg: A car has a 15" rim, and a 18" tyre. This is high profile/Car has 17" rim, 18" tyre. < lower profile
ogre
echo tyres arent the grippiest but there very good for puncture resistance and they last forever.
Mat Smith!!
echo tyres arent the grippiest but there very good for puncture resistance and they last forever. No there not, echo tyres are shit for everything but bounce and skids. They dont grip to anything and puncture alot more than monty and maxxis. DannyBazz (:
Ross Clayton got about 5/6 punctures in ONE day with an echo tyre

I don't really see the need for lower profile tyres or why it would give you more power. If Benito can do what he does with normal tyres I reckon the rest of us can just about cope!
