Recommended Posts

Hi All

I am building my first trials bike it is an old 2002-2003 T-MAG, the forks I have with it have a really long steerer tube.

My first question is how many mm of shims would you cut the steerer to suit, bearing in mind I will want to do a fair it of trial and error with regards stem height.

My second question is I have a pair of Try All Flat bars with a Try All Nuc 30 degree 150mm Stem, is this ok with regards length and angle, or would you recomend something else???

Many Thanks In Advance

Tom

That stem should be fine... I'd personally cut it to leave space for 20mm of spacers. Then cut it down at a later date if necessary.
