Alex Dark
id buy original....supposedly ebc reds are more bity than standard pads, although ive yet to see any evidence of this. My mate had some dual compund ebc pads, sintered and organic combined i think? and theyre definitely worse than the standard avid pads on his bb7. Fish-Finger-er
personally id go for superstar components sintered pads, granted its on my xc bike, but there way better than the standard avid pads, and at like £25 for 4 pairs, there stupidly hard to fault. Whatever you buy, you want sintered pads for trials. Out of the 20+ different branded pads I have tried, sintereds are consistently sharper and provide more bite. I then upgraded to juicy carbons, with what looked to be standard pads in them(got them second hand) rode with them, then stuck my old superstar pads back in there. and they where mint.
