Exact same thing happened to me.I got a saw and cut a slit into the bolt head as deep as I could get it until the saw was touching the top clamp. Then fine a thin metal blade, I used it off this slicer thing and put it in the slit and turned it.Remember to make the slit deep enough though or else you'll be screwed.Hope it works for you. Redneck Posted August 13, 2009 Report Share Posted August 13, 2009 if needed you could get a bolt extractor that goes on a drill. drill it out a bit then put the extractor thing in and reverse the drill, itll grab the bolt and back it out. ollie55573 Posted August 13, 2009 Report Share Posted August 13, 2009 ive had same problem so i did the following :firstly i got a grinder and ground a little slitt on top.next i got a big plat bladed screw drive and wedge it in and un screwed it.or you can do what my mate did he ground the bolt in half removed brake and drilled out the mount and retapped it to a bigger sizei hope these helped and good luck.
