Muel
You can either file it out or use a milling machine.Have you single walled it already? Saves more weight and takes less time.
alex-trials-boy
You would need a punch because its square and drill pices are round

M4RK1992
it would be best to use a drill to make as close to a square as possible and then file the odd edges to make it to a square. thats what i would do anyway
Muel
How to single wall:Get an angle grinder with a cutting disc and something to hold the rim in. (Vice with soft jaws works well).Scribe lines connecting the edges of the circles together as far apart as you can, so they look like this: O || OThe cut along the lines on the waste side, so you're cutting the inner wall out in pieces. Then just use the grinder to go upto the corner box section things.Leave the corner box sections in though, the rim needs these to have any stregnth at all! It's surprising how much it saves, I did a 26" Atomz rim, saved 130g.
