How To Put The Front Brake Hose?

Recommended Posts

Hello, as you might have seen, I have a new bike but people said to me that the way the front brake hose was passing was weird: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....p;#entry1955251

So how can I put it?

I have tried several ways, but none of them made me happy.

Also explain precisely!

Thank you...

Round the front of the forks past the top of the headtube.

Take the lever part odff the bars, put the cable round the front on the steerer tube then cable tie it to the back of the fork leg. :)

Do you have a picture of a bike with the front brake hose set correctly?

And when you mean round the front of the forks, do you mean starting from the lever or from the caliper?

Look at my picture below, black is hose, the white bit on the forks is a cable tie. :)

If anybody has any other ideas, they will be considered...

Because, apparently I have already two different ideas!

Look at my bike I know it's maggy but it's the same really.

I can't see the pictures, as I am at work and as they block some of the websites.

Just try them, there's no right or wrong way it's just whatever works best. Also the way you had it would scratch the toptube and flap about in you way.
