Just get an old geared road bike, take the multi freewheel off and all the gearing, slap a cheap acs on the thread, make the chain the right length and pull it back in the drop out (make sure it's not a vertical dropout) and bobs your uncle.

Chainline?

I was wondering with no brakes thats all but il probally make it into a ss or just keep gears

The wheel is fixed, you just slow down the pedalling and as such slow yourself down (or do a mad sick skid, if you're a man of steel like Glen)

There you have it. Ride a brakeless fixie, be like FatPants. Your call.

I have a brakeless fixie and never touch it for precisely this reason.

That and they are f**king dangerous and shit for going up hill. (Don't contradict me again Fatty, this is my opinion after riding fixed several times).

Fixies aren't made for going up hills, which is why they're generally just used in inner city environments. They're massively, massively popular in San Francisco where there are plenty of hills, but it's just a case of riding them in a different way to a normal bike, or even a fixie with a brake.
