Backhopping

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have a comment on whats better, high backhopping or doing lots of backhops. Please reply.

In my opinion lots of little ones.. as it helps allot more with balance! as you can make loads of little adjustments where as

with big hops you have to get everyone more correct to keep your balance!

hope this helps!

Yes, I agree with Rich.

The best way to do it really is it to find the balancing point on your back wheel, and only hop when neccessary.

For instance, if standing on your rear wheel and you feel pretty comfortable without hopping, then don't hop.

The hopping part is just for adjusting your position, say if you're lining up for a sidehop.

You want your bike to be just in the right place so you can get up the wall smoothly, not from half a metre away.

I hope you understand what i'm saying :)
