Until now, ive pretty much only used tarty, but I tried trials-uk for the 1st time last week, seemed pretty awesome, low price etc etc

So yeah, wrong part got sent, and I wanna send it back for the right bit, duh. They're phone number doesn't actually work, which is always a good sign, and I've not yet gotten a reply via email.

The part in question was a rear rim, blue 32 spokes, there was no option to buy a blue 36 hole rim, yet somehow I still get sent one.

Ill fill you guys in as things unfold, but 1st impressions so far are pretty damn crappy! Anyone else had much experience with them?

Loads of people have had trouble with them and it is branded an unreputable source to buy from, just really un-organised, under staffed and no communication with the customers.

That said, I ordered a said of pads from Dan a year ago, got them as to my usually expected postal standards, it doesn't mean I'm prepared to trust him, I was probably one of the lucky ones who's order wasn't cocked up.

Duuude, where have you been?! Under a rock?

Trials-Uk is to be avoided at all costs. Wrong parts, no refunds, no phone number, no parts delivered, 3-4 months to maybe get a refund, sponsorship deals that actually mean nothing and dodgy deals to get frames over here from manufacturers who he doesn't actually have the rights to sell.

Sorry dude, you been had, good luck sorting it out.

Distributed Denial of Service - get a whole shitload of computers to access the site at the same time, blowing through the bandwidth all in one go, and possibly costing him money in exceeded bandwidth fees.

I'm not doing it, I dunno how :P

Can't we just the whole of tf to do it?

I don't know how, but I know someone who could!

The whole of TF wouldn't even come close. If you requested the entire website it'd only come to about 50mb tops, which means we'd need 5000 willing to join in. (Assuming he has a 250gb bandwidth).

It would be easier for the whole of TF to do it if there was some kind of upload system for it... Like on photobucket or something, if everyone uploaded a massive picture at the same time it would have more of an effect. As a result, the only way to do it is with a virus, but you can dowload a virus kit from the internet, lol.

Get the ''someone you know'' to do it! :shifty:

I'm not getting involved. I don't hate him and even if I did, I wouldn't go down this route. (I can't anyway, I'm a fairly meager web developer, not a hacker).

It's a lot of effort anyway, and costing him a few quid in bandwidth that month isn't going to get this guys rim swapped for the right one.

Go to trading standards/the police. It's about time someone did...
