Gandalf the Yellow
hey all, wondered if any has it and has it changed their attitude to work etc...?i'm not sure if i have it, but recently i found i started jumbling my letters around, especially at work in the past few days, not so much typing, im good with that, but i noticed i keep writing the 2nd letter first rather than the 1st letter.... and i keep doing it and its starting to irritate me... it get worse when i copy something word for word! i never had problems with spelling and grammer in school, i wasn't great but i was nowhere as bad as i am now!steve
Muel
I've got it apparantly. I can read spell and type really well, but can't hand write for shit. I have to say each letter out loud as I write it.

JT!
Everyone has dyslexia these days. Just because you have slight problems with words and spellings etc just means you have problems with words and spellings. It seems to me it's such a common thing that it shouldn't have a name. For example, if you have a hard time remembering dates for a history test, where as other people don't have much of a problem, there isn't come medial name for that. Revolver
I could possibly have the number one, dyscalculia. It f**ks me up to see too many of the same thing together, I'm bollocks at counting. What's worse is when, occasionally at work I'll read the total for them to pay and say the numbers in the wrong order, or get stuck... Stupid thing. Happens a fair bit, too. Didn't happen today though.

If you can't even be arsed to use commas, full stops and other punctuation then how can you be expected to write properly?
Guest
I've got dyspraxia and may have ADHD looking forward to that one any way Dys only affects my handwriting spelling and concentration and sometimes hand eye co ordination. If your sitting your exams you can get given an extra 25% if you dyspraxia which can come in use.
Muel
When I did my GCSEs you were lucky if you got to have someone do the reading and writing for you, and I wasn't allowed it because I wasn't bad enough apparantly!
..::littlesam::..
at my school people use things like this as an excuse to be a badass. f**king stupid. i keep thinking i am developing a speech impediment but i am not sure
Gandalf the Yellow
Yeah i got this recently too First and second letter mixed up all time what i don't understand is how does it come out of nowhere?? reading up the symptoms i think dyspraxia is about right, though my eye-hand coordination is pretty good on guitar hero! i know so many people that has learning difficulties at uni, and the way how their exams work is a bit of a piss take.steve
