peggysue
i think 5 feet for riding only 2 and a half months is good, eventually you will learn to angle the bike more to get more leverage and also learn how to take off from the very edge of something as the tire folding over the edge will give you a good kick...it'll come!!! Dan Thornton
When i gap i try to stay on the back wheel steady with no correction hops to compose my self and focus on the gap,And then after I'm totally ready, I preload depending on the size of the gap the gap, and kick depending on the size of the gap.But the more you practice, you'l find you will develop your own style of gapping, it all come with time and practice.Hope I've helped.Dan.
