Right i no that there is the " Pad Review " topic but it is just confusing

Want to no which are currently the best pad's on the market, For a dead'ish grind and dry weather ( also have to be on tarty )

Phatpads are supposed to be amazing on almost any set-up, but I think they need a stiff setup to work. I had mine on a Kot MS2 frame with an Echo 2 bolt booster and it just wasn't stiff enough.

I think it depends on how much of the presure you put the brake under is actually transferred to the rim, rather than flexing the frame apart. More pressure in the pads means that the surface of the pad will deform to the grind better.

I ran Onza Citrus yellows on the front on a dead grind in dry weatherm worked amazing.

But sand that rim as much as you can untill its mega smooth. Then get some heatsink yellow or white. Or if you're lucky try to find some old style zoo pads. You'll never look back if you can find some of them ;)

I'm currently running Old zoo pad's but they have come to the end of there life.
