Mark W
'Bar work'... They'll be expecting them to land with their feet together and their arms raised above them next... There must be some more underground freerunners cringing right now!No doubt. Funny how they're saying "No-one's ever done that before!" about some of their dismounts. Um, apart from gymnasts. Way cleaner. For ages.Hahahaha, some of these falls are funny as f**k. Just properly bellyflopping. I reckon they should probably deduct points for air punching... Rusevelt
Anyone who attended last year's event knows that Tim.G (livewire) was robbed of victory with his powerful style, so its only fair that he won it this time.

monkeyseemonkeydo
It just didn't seem like freerunning or parkour though... when you watch that done well it's incredibly fluid and flowing. What they were doing is freestyle gymnastics at best. Just doesn't work.

After all, the idea is to make your ruote the most efficient. This would test their thinking on their feet, as well as their skill at free-running.Putting a pile of blocks and a... sigh... landing mat, for people to flip off onto, that's, well, not it. Mark W
There was a crash mat in the gap between the main staging and the 'crowd' staging bit, but not quite the same thing.

Revolver
crash mat, landing mat, same thing. Basically, one of the principles in free-running is shock absorbing. The idea is you learn to roll out of big falls, so that you can take larger drops without getting hurt. In which case, what the f**k do they need a crash mat for, they can already survive bigger falls than usual.
