Sammyturbo
Just got my Blade today and noticed a slight movement/play in the forks! Its as if a spacer or something is missing ? Is there supposed to be a little play or is something not tightened properly?I searched the forum but could not find anything sorry

Dale-Hill
You sure it's not your headset that's a bit loose?
Mtchell
Try lossening your stem and tighten your topcap bolt And retighten your stem then turn your wheel 90 degrees and see if the play is still there.
Sammyturbo
i will try losening the stem in a minute and tightening the topcap bolt ! When I lift the front wheel off the floor the forks drop a little and you can move the forks around when its off the floor only very slightly though ! Sam Moss
Try loosening the stem and then tightning your topcat bolt and then tighten your stem back up. if this doesnt work loosen your stem, remove youre topcat bolt, put another spacer in and tighten youre topcat bolt, then tighten your'e stem again. That sorted mine out.Add me on msn if you want more help mossi_4321@hotmail.co.uk Sam Moss Edited July 29, 2009 by Sam Moss

theom
Sounds like you need to tighten the topcap up, or you need to add a spacer underneath or ontop of your stem so that that the stem or spacer is higher than the fork tube, so that the topcap will tighten everything down.
