BONGO
Hi, I thought I'd start this after it's recently been an FAQ. Add your own. liverpool - rampworx (biggest indoor park in europe.)my local chester - boneyard (spawned Owain Clegg, Ali Whitton and John Taylor) darwen - rhythm (amazing small park, perfect ramps) preston - grind (famously, the sketchiest park in the uk) stockport - bones (really good park, 2 floors, vert, nice bowl) bolton - bones also (more of a skateboard park, still good, no bikes on weekend) John. Papa Manual
Why the hell aren't there more foam pits in England? That's rediculous, they're not amazingly hard to construct safely, so how come there's only one? I think they're really useful, I'm really surprised. trials_rocks
my local: HSC skate park - wealdstone (at the back of the leisure centre) its an outdoor concrete park. used to have a few ramps but they got taken away when they did the park up recently, and they never returned. its not bad if your local, wouldnt really travel far to get to it though
Tom_C
Foampits: See Simon Tabrons helmet! "The hard way" bmx riders depending on foam pits to learn tricks and get them right before they do them on a proper ramp/ jump. Interesting debate. Bristol: SK8 and Ride, just changed to summat else. Newport/ S Wales: Sk8 Extreme, very good indoor skate park according to the legenday bmx'rs at salisbury. ( remember the names Josh Elkington and Mitch Yeates!) :- Edited November 8, 2003 by Tom_Zero

Mark W
Well, if he was 10 miles out of Wales the only way that'd be possible would be to be in the sea :- Near Swansea aren'tcha? All MBUK boys have found it's 'cool' there so they do bike tests there too. Claim to fame: Saw Chris Smith riding there before he became 'big' (I.e. before MBUK took his cock every month), doing double barspins on his Curtis, and barspin to fufanu and shit on the big midi quarter. Weird lad, he is... Mark.
haydon_peter
My/Salisbury's claim to fame is: The cliff gap that Chris Smith messed up is in Salisbury, it is mental. I wasnt there, I just heard the rumour then it was in the next MBUK saying he screwed up a cliff gap jump. n/m "Tic"

tom s
doncaster-resa, in rossington vertex-in sunderland. Vertx in sunderland is nothing special but still worth a look if you're there. It ain't that well maintained and watch out for some of the pot-holes! Also the owner's a bit of a dick.
