theom
No it doesn't, I've been using it for years, you just stick a screwdriver down them, work it round and spray some WD40 in there.Foam Grips?

t-bird tom
The way I keep my foam grips on, is by rubbing tar on the bars it locks them on but it dose eventually wear off. Thats not a problem just pull the grip off and rub some more on, simple as that.Hope I've helped .

josh barker
Hairspray your bars then put the grips on. dony use hairspray, use clear lacquer or whatever its calledI've tried loads over the years, with Halfords foams the best thing to do was just slide them on naturally, ensuring that the bar is dry and clean.Rubber grips the best thing is hairspray or something else that sets tackyish. And then Trialtech foams moved after the usual slide on technique, so I took them back off and with the advice of the members on here, used spray paint (black obviously is most appropriate).yeh black spray paint or clear lacquer is the best to use

duncan_echo26
I put tar on the bars and I cut part off an old grip and put it on the bar before the actual grip to fill the space between the grip and the lever. This stops the grip from sliding in. ashleysmith
use a liquid degreaser... clean streak is good.spray on, fit grip, go riding and wont come off till you need it to!
Duncy H
Being a moto-trials rider I had some PJ1 chain lube (the type that turns really sticky) After leaving it for about 15mins to dry my trialtech grips are rock solid where as before they slipped down the bars. Also ensure that your bars and inside of your grips are nice and clean.
jakejp94@hotmail.co.uk
With foam grips i use water because they absorb then dry out and stay, and then when you want to get them off put water back on them, then pull them off, well if you still want them. Sam Moss
I had the same problem but i found out that tar keeps them on realy well. Just take your'e grips of and then rub tar on the bars where your'e grips will go.To get them off just wet the inside of the grips and they should slide off. morristhef
I would reccommend getting some lock on grips. Easy to put on, stay put and are not too expensive. But most of the other replies seem good enough to me. hairspray and glue sound the best. But it could just be me being a 'tard but would tar not leave lumps in the grip???
trials benji
Sometimes hairspray does not work very well as it sometimes stays slippy. However on foam grips maybe use some double sided tape worked on my last trials bike. Hope i helped .
