Any Tips On Getting These Bolts Out

Hello everyone

Right i`m trying to take of my magura`s for the fist time so i can re-adjust them

but the person who had the bike before me has tightened the bolts up really tight

i have got the right side bolts of but the left side are starting to thread as you

can see in the picture

so can anyone please help any advise

on how to get them out sorry if this is a stupid question but i

really don't know what to do

I'd file two flats on the heads of the bolts and use a spanner/pliers/mole grips.

And throw those bolts away, cheese heads are shite, get some allen headed bolts.

EDIT: Whats all this talk of "threads"? If it strips you helicoil it, if it magically threads itself again you have a party.

They don't look that rounded. Get 2 people, 1 person lean on the flat headed screwdrive on the bolt, and get the other person to use an adjustable spanner to get more leverage on the screwdriver and get him to turn it. It will work peice of piss.

i will try your advise there bound to come out

one way or another and trust me I'm chucking the

bolts and replacing them with some from tarty this

is the first time Ive removed them other wise i would

had done this a while ago again thanks for all your

help people

Here's an idea -

Get the screwdriver, it's a flathead, so put that into the screw, then get an adjustable spanner, tighten it against the blade of the screwdriver, and use the leverage of the spanner to turn it out.

That worked on the top bolt but it has just made

the lower bolt allot worse im getting mole grips

tomorrow so i will give that ago if that don't work

i will try something else thanks for the idea it did

get one bolt out
