Jake Beach
I agree! Even though the Hampshire events have a great atomsphere, im sure if well planned, a play day could attract a larger number of riders.Hopefully sparking interest back in the comp's?!My mate would deffo come as he wants to start but wants to see what it is like to actually ride before he starts doing comps. 0zzy
will try and make my way to a hampshire comp this year, around 5-6 hours traveling for me though. come on though people, comps are brilliant fun, nothings taken to seriously, good banter, good people, good venues, and a brilliant atmpsphere. get to a comp people who havent been to one! Ash-Kennard
Is it worth speaking to Terry about making the next comp at Bransgore into a funday/practice/playday? I know it's not ideal but if it gets a load of riders together having fun then it's all good... Maybe have a few random sections set up as well to allow riders to give comp style riding a go without the pressure of competing. Thoughts?i would come if that actually happened. bransgore is the best venue we have

noworries
Really sad to hear that Terry had to cancel the comp as I fully understand the effort it takes to run one. The ebtc have had an August trial for the last three years and numbers are always lower for that trial and improve later in the year so hope this will be the case for hbtc. We have a trial on August 23 at Canada Heights MotorX circuit, Swanley Kent and if any of you would like to join us (this comp is natural no man made sections) the entry form can be downloaded from www.ebtc.net. The entry fee will include day membership to ebtc but you will need an ACU trials licence.Dave B Edited July 31, 2009 by noworries
