Such a shame, its a good venue there.

If i wasnt riding at the world cup this weekend i would of been there :(

Really disapointing to see its come to this, its a great club, best atmosphere of any of the comps i go to, and i know Terry, Hazel and Michael put a lot of time and effort into the club and running the comps.

Hopefully it will pick up soon

its a shame, hopefully we will get a better response for the next event.

I thought we were onto a winner after the first comp at Bransgore but since then numbers have been dwindling again. This had to happen though... Hopefully for the next one people will be able to get the entries in in time if they're planning to attend!

i might do a little round up of people with alot of advertisement it terry is willing to do a play day at bransgore again this year.

will definately need some kind of boost to try and get numbers up if the club it so continue being successful.

Like ive said before to Rob and Luke, if ever a play day was arranged and we needed materials to ride on, i could try and get them from work. Let me know if anythings in the pipeline, il be avalible to help when ever needed.

As for the comp, as all entries should know now, Terry has cancelled the event. Thanks to everyone on the forum for trying to get as many as we could, least we tried! Look ahead to hopefully round 7!

The play day's held at Bransgore and Richard Frampton has loads of stuff to ride on there as is so stuff to ride on is never a problem (Y). Haven't heard anything about one yet... might see if we can get something sorted- I have a feeling that a general play day would attract far more riders than a comp, people seem to see comps as something too serious that you need to be really good to attend... time for some pure fun without a competition element?

I agree! Even though the Hampshire events have a great atomsphere, im sure if well planned, a play day could attract a larger number of riders.

Hopefully sparking interest back in the comp's?!

Is it worth speaking to Terry about making the next comp at Bransgore into a funday/practice/playday? I know it's not ideal but if it gets a load of riders together having fun then it's all good... Maybe have a few random sections set up as well to allow riders to give comp style riding a go without the pressure of competing. Thoughts?

I may give him a buzz tonight and see if i can go round and have a chat, see what we can come up with. I think your idea dave of having just a play day but incorperating 2/3 sections just for people to give ago would be ideal!
