Danny
Do what I did :- 1. Nick lewis's grinder 2. Take grinder home and take wheel and tire off bike 3. Take inside bathroom 4. Place on the bottom of shower cubicle 5. Get extension lead into bathroom 6. Place one foot on it 7. Grind to f00k 8. Shout rest of day because you deafened yourself because u used a grinder in a tiny little en-suite bathroom at uni accomodation. 9. Stand back and enjoy what you have done with a beer and smile at the fact you just woke all your flatmates up :D 10. Still have lewis's grinder because he got hit by a tram so didnt feel like picking it up.

N.Wood
Tartridge, that rim looks sweet  I only have a small hobby tool grinder which only has about a one inch grinder bit on it! it is good for a light grind but only lasts for about three rides till it wares off. and cos of the small grinder bit, it takes me ages cos only the middle is in contact with the rim at a time. it makes applying tar easier though. And it'll be done when I can be arsed (very soon probably, ive got loads of work I should be doing).
Trials Punk
I've used a wire brush fitting on an angle grinder, just take the disk off and put the wire brush on, really light compared to a proper grind but gives u an advantage if you don't want to slaughter your rims to much. mavic
A slight grind is amazing with meagmo/monty pads I did mine with a file and then cleaned the rim with some muck off ( I am very gay and if my bike is not clean then I cry) it is much better than tar and works like a bich on speed in the dry and ok in the wet(I dont ride in the wet ) any way if u dont want a massive grind in your rim use a file or hack saw takes about 1 hour but just do when u are watching tv or somthing... pxdanny

Jang
y grid get a ceramic! because, some of us prefer the wider rim.. and theres not a koxx rim with a ceramic coating :-
Phatmike
I'm just about to do it now, and has anyone got any info about which way to hold the grinder. it spins clock wise looking from top if that helps.
JoShO
ive got 2 old concept kids bike wheels so im gonna learn on them so I dont FFFFFOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKK my new koxx rim.what disc do you use(soft/hard)and what angle to hold it at?cheers, josh
Janson
I use a metal cutting disc, gives a really rough grind, eats pads! I hold the grinder at a 45 degree angle, but it doesn't really matter much. Gray is rim, green is grinder, yellow arrow shows which direction to "drag" the grinder to. JoShO
id like really a lightish gring as not to wreck my new koxx pads, and I thought you were supposed to spin the wheel when grinding? josh
