Bigman
In all honesty I do not think there is realy anything that would realy need changing straight away, possibly look into getting a slightly better freewheel, and maybe some different rear brake pads, but other than that the standard spec on those bikes is pretty good Adam
J Trials 31
like he said, freewheel is the main thing and brake pads. I'd get a different bar and stem setup.
simlesuperlol
just to know, what's bad with that freewheel and what differences a good one of a bad one?
Mark W
ACS Claws aren't very reliable, and just aren't great in general. If you stick with it, make sure you keep an eye on the lockring so it doesn't loosen itself off over time (Which they usually do).
Redneck
the loosening of the FW will most likely happen with most FW. the origional shimano thingy that my monty has on it usually needs a regular tightening. it just seems to be something that you need to keep an eye on. cai
Your wrong there mate, most freewheels have their lockrings positioned against the crank arm - so they actually can not undo when fitted to the bike. ACS Claws don't have this feature though! Also the ACS have very few engagements compared with freewheels such as Try-all, Eno, Tensile, Monty, Etc.. which all have between 60 and 108 engagments, where ACS Claws have around 36? Which changes the ride of the bike for the worse.

Alex Dark
if it were me...id change the freewheel to a tensile or rockman, and the brake pads to some cnc'd cousts

simlesuperlol
thanks for those advices I'll keep them in mind but for now...well...I'm out of money so I'll ride it with the original parts for a while and after that I'll change in order 1. Freewheel 2. brake pads and after maybe the bars thanks again now I know how to upgrade my bike
