duncshaw
As title says im getting a new bottom bracket but not sure which one to go for as been having trouble with my fsa ones i have been using! what would you recommend?
psycholist
If its an ISIS I'd go with an Echo (Or Superstar they're the same thing as far as I can tell) or if bearing durability is an issue the SKF ones - just make sure you get the right tool to fit the SKF's. I've been running an Echo BB for over 1.5 years with no problems .

Muel
He wants light, not heaviest bb ever made...Look at Trialtech, they're cheap and pretty light, but apparantly very strong too.

cai
Either the Trialtech 'lite' or the Echo - they're the same bottom bracket, Trialtechs cheaper but Echos come with aluminium crank bolts..

N.Wood
I've had a Try-All isis one for about 5 month now and its been perfect. I bought it because they have replaceable bearings, which is what I usually kill.
WIGAN
if you can get hold of one the old echo externals are very good, strong, durable and still pretty light and you can replace the bearings too if you manage too break them.
gu trials
trialtech or tryall(Y) either one of them are very good
Watson©
Duncan...I have a Try-All ISIS bb if you want it, sell you it for much cheapness It's in awesome condition and a solid, smooth running bb. Only reason why I'm selling it is cause it's the wrong size for my new frame!
craiggy1984
I have had no problems with try tryall bottom brackets I have had! and the bearings are replacable if they were to go. +1 to that,i love mine,it's an 127.5mm axle,68mm shell, love the green axle too
Redneck
my monty had a FAG BB in it for at least 6 years. the dam thing is basically plastic. the only reason why it broke is because i pulled out out to clean the BB area out and tightened the cup to much then rode an event on it thus breaking the too tight cup. Tim/Trialsin USA
Meta/Trialtech/MOE/Echo (sure there is at least one or two more) = First. Descent BBs for the money, which is why there are so many relabels. Edited July 23, 2009 by Tim/Trialsin USA
