Fork Offset

Seeing as the 24" crew like tricks, less rake would suit best. Though fork leg length does into play slightly. A shorter fork leg creates a steeper head angle, but some forks seem to compensate that with less rake. Or visa versa.

If it's a custom Marino fork, i'd go with 40mm. Then they have some room to be made wrong. :)

Less rake also makes it feel like the head angles steeper, because the front wheel is further underneath the bike.

Although it does raise the bike up very slightly, so the head angle would actually be slightly less.

Could i just ask whilst im here.

Im running zoo 07 forks at the minute.

Say i put some other forks with the same axle to crown length and the same axle offset. Would they feel exactly the same (obviously they would be flexier or stiffer).

Another question, if i got some forks with the same axle to crown length and the same axle offset, but were curved instead of straight blade, would they feel the same ?

Yeah. If they're the same, they're the same :P Or do you mean curved vs straight blade. Not that it matters, because they would also feel the same.

*Then i read the second question. And realised i already answered it. :D
