Help Me Choose A Course :)

Hello all,

Having a little search on Google I can't really find what I'm after.

I had my appraisal at work last week (For those that don't know, it's a yearly procedure where they review your performance, set you new goals and generally check you're alright...). I hassled them for extra training and stuff and they basically said I was doing really well and they'd be happy to fund an NVQ of my choice as long as it was relevant to my position.

So, this leaves me with basic admin / office tasks NVQ or something a bit more challenging - I'd like the latter. I'm looking for some kind of business management course, or something fairly challenging but still related to office work.

Whilst I'm not a manager yet, I'm thinking aim higher and show them where I'd like to end up.

So, can anyone help out with info? I looked on a few sites and they don't seem to actually mention specific courses.

Can anyone help?

Btw, if it matters, I'm 25 and in full time employment...

Cheers!

My actual role is Internal Sales by the way, but it's not like normal Sales so a course doing that would be pointless.

Most employers would look at your experience more than an NVQ, unless you do an NVQ and keep plugging on for the extra levels/units to make it something more worthwhile.

My boss doesn't even think me doing a BSc is worth it....

It's something I'll be doing at work and it's something I want to do for me, more than something to show off.

I think it'll help me gain extra skills.

This is quite varied and interesting. I'm doing a similar qualification with them. After the certificate there's the diploma and then you get to choose between studying their professional level stuff to become a chartered company secretary (not someone who answers phones and stuff, it's a £60k - £six figure position usually) or doing their masters programme. The masters programme also makes you a chartered company secretary, but there's additional stuff making it far harder.
