Thougt it was about time I sorted a bike out to get me some weight lost, and 'cause I miss riding, so made myself get the parts I need, and build the bike.

Below is the finished outcome.

Quick spec

Base frame (the original TA26)

king hubs F & R

Middleburn cranks

maggie rear, SD 7 front

Pazzaz stem and carbon bars

Some old school handsomedog steel forks (weight a tonne but hey ho, they won't snap)

Time to ride....

am i crazy or the fork is bent??

nice bike:)

No, thats what I thought when I saw the pictures. The forks have no sweep (if thats the right word) on them at all and are pretty much straight from the steerer down to the fork legs. Nice short wheelbase.

Damn, they're all way too heavy. Cheers for the link anyhow.

The actual forks used are the 'Handsome Dog Super Strongs' from All Terrain Cycles, not sure they have any more left though but worth keeping your eyes our, i'll try find weight of them for you.
