durkie Posted July 19, 2009 Report Share Posted July 19, 2009 (edited) It'd be worth doing because I don't think anyone else has tried it yet and you'd have maybe slightly lower maintenance/weight.It wouldn't be worth doing because trials bikes don't roll and there's not really a good reason to spend the money on super nice bearings. sstein Posted July 19, 2009 Report Share Posted July 19, 2009 As far as I know the major advantage of ceramic bearings is that they last longer in extreme weather conditions so are very good for mountain bikes.
