Greetings
Here are some pics of my 2009 Pure, built it up out of interest and found it to be a rather nice alternative to the Triton which I've been riding for the last 2 years. It's actually a brilliant all round frame, though ridiculously long it's good for almost everything. The brake is rock solid, no need for a booster either.Gear ratio is 18:15 and surprisingly doesn't need any tensioning. Chain stretch taken into account.Using Plazmatics on the front now which are hands down the best pads I've ever had and a combination of CRM and Bluberry on the rear. Found that to be the best combination due to the CRM's soft compound.Bike weighs around 8,7kgs.

Ross McArthur
Used tires always hold a new bike back from looking nice.Apart from that, I love it.Is the TT bash in the right place for you there? Seems a bit far round.

Seems a bit far round. The bash is ok, could be a bit more down though. But it does it's job.Agree with the tyres, need to change them. They're so worn that they've got pinch-happy. Prawny Baby
Man that looks awesome! I'm now confused and swinging back more towards the pure than the new Zoo!Could I be really cheeky and ask you to measure a few things for me?What's the wheelbase and BB height with those trialtech forks? and what's the reach measurement?Does it feel flexy to ride? I'm between getting that or the phirana, I love long bikes, but don't know which would be best.
Muel
Looks good Inur, can't see it lasting long though before you go back to the Triton though. How on earth do you ride with your levers that low?
JackMeek
where did you buy your pedals from?
Greetings
Could I be really cheeky and ask you to measure a few things for me?No problem, always glad to help. The wheelbase is 1105mm, reach is around 700mm. BB height from ground is 360mm.It's a very stiff frame to ride though my only comparison is the Triton which is rather springy.Actually I didn't expect it to be this long (only just measured it) but it doesn't feel that long to ride. Everything is in the right place if you get me, it doesn't feel like the wheels are miles apart - there's just quite a lot of space to move your body around in.edit: Pedals are Echo SL, from Echo. toyota200x
Looks really nice. The Triton is a cooler more unique bike but I like both.
