Sam Nichols
Not had much luck so far on the wanted section, so perhaps someone has a suggestion for a new camera.Nothing fancy at all, something that's cheap and cheerful, has a flash, takes clear photos, no need to be super high resolution as I just want something I can take a few riding pics with and take along to parties. Plus I'd like to have a record of the 24 tour.Sooo I'm more likely to be snap happy on 'auto' mode than anything else.Budget: Under £100I think that's it really. MadManMike
To be honest, most cameras are much the same these days - cheap point and clicks anyway.FinePix seem to be the weapon of choice though, have a look for some of those bad boys. Sam Nichols
This is all I've come up with so far..It's a bit of a minefield though I feel, perhaps I'll just take a punt at something on Ebay for 20 quid! Shit quality pictures have a certain je ne sais quoi about them anyway!
Rob_P
Out of all of the compacts I personally find samsungs the worst, slow, too much flash, crappy sounds, the worst is when you find a really cheap camera that says "snap" when your taking a photo!Just go for a cheap fuji, olympus or nikon, shud do the trick!Try warehouse express as well Edited July 16, 2009 by Rob_P
I-LikeMatchesDerFun
Try pixmania.com Have bought digital cameras for family there. They're pretty reasonable and quick. Make sure to check the item is actually in stock though. My mate ordered from them and had to wait 5 weeks for the item to come back in stock. Just something to look out for.Steve

Rob_P
Bad experience?Well apart from being renowned as generally shit, yeh. Ordered my D70 from there a few years ago and it kept saying (for instace) in stock on the 10th of october, come to the 10th and it would move to the 20th, then the 29th, etc. Soon as I emailed them to cancel the order they had 'magically' found me a camera that had already been shipped. If I wasn't so happy to finally have a camera when it arrived, I would have sent it back. Also they are based in france, instructions are in french (although thats not really a problem) but yeah, just don't even bother. Companies with such bad service don't even deserve your money, it's like Jessops, great prices but absolutely shit, hence why are are in financial ruin.
