Muel
Yellows are not better though, my mate had some reds and they shat all over my yellows. The yellows were alright when new, but just no hold at all now, just gave it a fresh grind aswell and no difference. My reds were mint on my Ko, then when I got my Le with a built in booster I ran a top booster and they must have been the worst thing ever..... Muel
Yep, still allows quite a bit of flex though, but everyone I know who has them has said the same, the reds hold way better.
Ciguena_dreamer
Ed's seemed to be a beast at Dj ride.
Simpson
I know My fannycombe got the last (selling) pair.TECHNICALLY he didn't buy the last pair (let the guessing game begin)And yea as I've said for years best 3 pads, phats, HS reds and rimjam v3's. Nothing better than those, haven't heard great things about the yellows, but I've run my phat pads for 6 months with no sign of wear, so im happy enough lol

cai
Is your grind mega sharp? Or do they work on a "normal" grind?Mine worked really well on practacally a dead grind for months and months, then when I got a hold of some Heatsink red compound I gave sold the phat material to Ozzy - he's not getting on well with them at all My set up was alot stiffer than his though, so maybe this is why? Fixed Pantsâ„¢
Phats are possibly the best ever pads i've ever used. Not had personally, but used on many a bike...2nd to bigman or prawn (can never remember) awesomely perfect coustcncs on an uber sharp grind when he had his coust frame...My cousts were good for ages, then they went a bit poo, and still are, bit of tar livens them up, probably my dead dead grind though...I never had a go on a bike with reds that worked well. Mark W
They're not as good as the Koxx greens, that's what
forteh
In all honesty I feel the yellows are as good as the reds, more bite but alittle more wear. They do need a sharp grind though, hold on a dull grind is pretty poor. Keep your grind sharp and they work perfectly in the wet or dry - the abingdon DJ ride proved that.I still have my reds at home, just not much material left
Otacon
Whats wrong with koxx bloxx browns?Nothing. I'm running some 3 year old one's with about 2mm of material left, still got loads of bite, mega loud and lots of hold. They're not as good as the Koxx greens, that's what True. Greens are the best Koxx pads along side the blue's.
Revolver
Hehe, I have koxx bloxx browns and my brake is a bit lacklustre. The grind I've got is quite dead now. When you use it they make this kind of swishy noise, although they have started to make a proper noise, which they never used to do.

Simpson
Is your grind mega sharp? Or do they work on a "normal" grind?I have run them on sharp grinds and they are amazing. But ever since i got my inspired (4-8 months ago) been on a dead grind, no tar.
