JonMack
As for the hotwheels 010 bikes, they might look good but they'll never have any in stock so meh'.You either missed a 2, or added a
Captain Scarlet
Anyone else find that working with bikes all the time really puts you off riding? The last thing I want to do when I get home is see another bike!I've heard people mention this a lot, another similar one being "Fixing/building bikes all day so you can;t find the time/be bothered to do your own".I don't feel "Oh not another bike!" when I see mine, as the high specification usually means parts fall together making it a breeze to fix/replace parts than on a cheap mountain bike.I guess it's also the type of bike, as trials is an incredibly uncommon type of bike, it is very unlikely I have to build or fix one at work. Ali C
Jardo, do those aisles fit in with health and safety guidelines of minimum width? Does anyone else find that bike firms (or component firms especially) don't care how they pack their parts? They just seem to find a box and chuck all the parts in and don't care if they get scratched or not. I know that when I pack parts, I usually individually bubble wrap most parts and stuff the box so no parts can move.

Or, thats how I'd say it rather than 2010.Jardo, do those aisles fit in with health and safety guidelines of minimum width? You haven't seen the stock room out the back or the workshop yet... I know that when I pack parts, I usually individually bubble wrap most parts and stuff the box so no parts can move.I guess that is just a customer service thing, part of what I expect my postage price I pay when shopping for items online is to ensure it is packed well, and of course with feedback systems asking how well the item was wrapped. Our Raleigh P&A delivery is an oversized box with all the items put inside loose, then packed with a bit of newspaper, the stock inside only takes up about 1/5 of the box. But as it goes through Raleigh's own dedicated courier, its not so bad I suppose.
mr_malcolm
Our Raliegh orders are a nightmare to sort out sometimes the way they just put it all lose in one box gets a bit annoying. I like companys that wrap stuff up etc as it means we get free packing to use for our customers as we have a policy of recyling all boxes that come in. The 2010 GTs look like they have just thrown cans of pain at some of them, i really like it though.

Pashley26
oh-twenty-three, DUH!Jardo, seriously, oh-ten? You're a douche.Well, it sounds better than saying the "two thousand and ten" bikes doesn't it ?"Oh-ten" or "twenty ten" sound much better than "two thousand and ten".And when it comes round to 2023 people will probably say "twenty twenty three" instead. People call the 2001/2002/2003/2004/2005/2006/2007/2008/2009 bikes "Oh-whatever" so why not for the 10's ?I mean, nobody calls the 2012 olympics the two thousand and twelve olympics do they ? No, they all say twenty twelve... Edited July 28, 2009 by Pashley26

No, they all say twenty twelve...No, it doesn't. What's considered the "correct" thing to say would be twenty ten.I know twenty ten sounds better than two thousand and ten, I didn't mention two thousand and ten anywhere in my post, you jumped to a conclusion.Yes, yes they will.Because 10 is ten, not 0-10, yes I know there is a zero before it, but you wouldnt say two zero ten, you'd say twenty ten.No, they say twenty twelve, so why do you say oh-ten? Pashley26
I would put in a grand piano/getting owned by your dad joke joke, but the point I'm making is that me and Jon are of an age of responsibility and maturity, so we shouldn't be sat at home making up petty arguments on a web based forum. So it'd be a bit hypocritical... Edited July 28, 2009 by Pashley26
