RabiaEx
Hey, guys. I want to get into Trials and stuff, but I really don't know what bike I should get.. I was thinking about getting an ECHO Lite. Here's a picture:I found out it's about $400 U.S.D. That price seems suitable for me, but is there anything good but cheaper than this? $300? $270? Thankss
Laurence--Trials
this might or might not be helpful but, make sure u get hydrolic brakes i got my first bike with vee's and they're really bad, allways slipping!
ogre
Full bike for $400? Unless your buying 2nd hand you'll only be getting a frame, or mega shite components look at the onza range for cheaper bikes...
RabiaEx
I looked at the Onza's and the one that seemed best for me was the T-Bird.It has a nice front disc.. The T-Vee, which is cheaper, has a V brake system on the front. Laurence said I shouldn't go for a V system so I think the best option right now is the T-Bird.What do you guys think? RabiaEx
So, do you guys recommend the T-Bird?I've seen a lot of 9-10 year olds ride that bike.. ;(

adamtrials
I'd recommend trying to find a used bike, you'll get a far superior bike for the same price. Top of the range bikes can be had for virtually nothing at the moment. You'll regret buying a t-bird after a few months.
RabiaEx
I couldn't find anything used that seemed interesting, but I looked at the Onza Blade..It's about $690 U.S.D.

SlayMe
I'd recommend trying to find a used bike, you'll get a far superior bike for the same price. Top of the range bikes can be had for virtually nothing at the moment. You'll regret buying a t-bird after a few months.I totally agree. In addition, if you find that trials is not your sport, you can sell a used bike for about the same price you paid for it. If you try selling an (almost) new beginners bike, you will lose lots of money. Edited July 10, 2009 by SlayMe
