Bike Help, And Hop Help (dubble Topic)

Recommended Posts

Before I say anything, I would like to apologise for my poor description on this topic.

1#

Right at the front of the frame where the headset is, my bars/forks are a little wobbly and I cant fix this until Thursday, I was just wondering if this could damage my bike?

2#

Ok so I can hop backwards about 10 times I find it difficult to hop on the same spot and I really cant hop forward (witch I driving me NUTS!) can anyone describe or give me a link on how I can hop forward? (I’m learning slowly to hop of the same spot, so that’s not really a problem)

Thanks.

Laurence.

in reply to the first question,

all you need to do is loosen the bolts which hold the stem to the forks, then (whilst making sure not to move the bars) tighten the bolt above the bolts you have just loosened.

After that tighten all the bolts back up and the 'rocking' should have gone.

Just make sure that you havent done the top cap bolt too tight by turning the bars as if you were about to go round a corner, if it feels stiff then do the above steps again but loosen the topcap bolt instead of tightening it slightly.

hope this helped

..rob..

Hey mate, the pedal kick movement is a pretty hard thing to explain correctly.

So have a look at the video's on this website: Http://www.trashzen.com

They should help you out a bit ;)
