Mark W
OBM, you didn't post a T-bone, can you get a picture up?Possibly not. Don't have any on here, no idea where there'd be one...
Revolver
I'd like to know what they look like, I was in the supercycles warehouse, but they had none there.
Hendrix
I've not had many bikes, well not any to talk about. So here are the two that are worth talking about. Mission CompoOnza Woodstock

Mark W
I'd like to know what they look like, I was in the supercycles warehouse, but they had none there.Imagine a dark grey T-Lite, pretty much. It was literally a T-Lite copy, made out of various kinds of steel, generally covered in rust...It's a bit of a downer in a way that I've lost pretty much all digital traces of a pretty significant part of my life... Revolver
I think I remember, its a t-lite, but in the colour of the best known t-pro, and it said, t-bone?I've seen one, somewhere, in a picture.

Mark W
The only time it said T-Bone on it was some shitty graphics I drew on it with a marker pen. But yeah, that's basically it...
Revolver
Haha, fair enough. What happened for you to stop riding trials?
Mark W
I started doing more BMXy stuff (Longer lines involving manuals, spins, etc.), and realised that if I was going to pretend I was riding a BMX I might as well ride one. Similarly, I'd done the biggest stuff it was possible to do in the town I lived in and couldn't really go anywhere else to ride, so it was like I topped out, in a way. There was really good stuff for learning to ride, but once the walls got past 52-53" tall, they jumped up to like 6ft minimum or so, so once I'd learnt different ways of getting up the realistic sized walls, there was no way I could do the step up. Same as the gaps in a way, longest do-able gap was about 10ft or so, and after that it was nuts, unrealistic stuff. I still think about getting back on a trials bike every now and again 'cos I can still ride them fine, but they're just so impractical and generally wank now... Revolver
A fourplay isn't Mind, as I found, it feels weeeeird when you switch between one and a BMX. Edited July 8, 2009 by Revolver
Mark W
Thing is is that if I was going to ride trials on a trials bike, not faux BMX on a trials bike. My BMX is infinitely better than a Fourplay for doing BMX stuff on, so I'd rather just do 'trials'.And yeah, the changeover between BMX and trials sucks. I wanted to get better at BMX, but my default setting was 'trials bike' 'cos that's what I'd ridden for 6 years. It's even the same now. Tic was in London with his mod and I backwheeled a foot over bars (Trumpet: blown) on it like 3rd go or something like that, then couldn't ride my BMX for 30mins 'cos it felt utterly f**king weird... Mark W
Less scope in London. Despite being one of the biggest cities, the scene in Central London sucked for the most part. The spots are also relatively spread out unless you do that same f**king route everyone does from Shell to St.Pauls, and while that's no problem on a BMX on a trials bike it sucks.I live in Newcastle now. Mark W
Indeed the manning up might need to be done on the part of the one who initiated it all, to over-look it all.*Smokes pipe*
